Our family-run business is operated by myself, John Galley, along with my son and daughter. It is a real family concern, with our niece working in the shop on a Saturday.
I bought a stall in Castle Market 19 years ago and have never looked back since; moving to the Moor Market in November last year.
We currently employ three serving staff and four butchers as well as a trainee, who use old-fashioned butchery skills.
We offer a wide range of steaks which are one of our best sellers, A must rty is our home-made (very lean) sausages.
We like to think that we can accommodate tastes from every budget and nationality. We have a particularly good rapport with our student customers, many of whom ask us for cookery tips and recipes.
