For a quick supper, take a large open field mushroom, peel it and leave whole.
Put the mushroom on a greased or oiled baking sheet stalk side up, spread the bacon around the dark underside, then sprinkle on the cooked onion. Also finely crumble on the cheese and drizzle over some flavoured British seed oil.
Bake for around 15mins in a medium to hot oven. Butter some bread or do yourself some buttered toast. Once the cheese has melted and the mushroom is giving out some liquid and it has shrunk a little in size it is ready for you to enjoy.
