Sheffield Libraries and Archives in the Moor Market

Sheffield Libraries and Archives are heading to the Moor Market for Christmas Shopping week, running Saturday 14th to Saturday 21st of December.

Come and see an exhibition from Picture Sheffield showing Winter in Sheffield in the past, Christmas Illuminations, Snow, Santa and more. 

Let the images evoke your memories of wandering the city with a chill in the air, collars pulled up and scarves wrapped around. Remember the sights and sounds, the odours of fresh chestnuts, the cry of a market trader. Think back to those grand sledging days when snow was thick and lay as a white carpet for days and weeks.
