In the Winter Garden Pop-Up Shop until September 11th we have a showcase by makers who have taken part in the Learn, Create, Sell course that is part of a social enterprise.
This aims to empower unemployed individuals to be able to design and trade their own products.
Over the course, the participants were taught how to use a laser cutter to actualise their design ideas. They were then educated on how to market thier products by hosting a pop-up shop, which we are pleased to host.
Since its inception the LCS programme has successfully helped dozens of creatives overcome the barriers that come with entrepreneurship.
This is a great opportunity to buy a handmade gift and help the makers.
They also have an online platform where you can browse and purchase various goods they have made.
